Dad's Corned Beef Cabbage
Ingredients
All sizes and portions are approximate. Easily adjust the recipe to your liking and family size.
1/2 Large Head of Cabbage.
1/2 stick of butter
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic
Hot sauce of your choice. (My favorite is Texas Pete!)
1/3 lb. thick sliced corned beef
1/3 c. chicken stock
smoke seasoning
Directions
Easy, self explanatory, directions anyone can do.
Line baking pan with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut cabbage into approximately 2 inch squares and place into lined pan.

Slice butter and place on top of cabbage.
Sprinkle seasonings and hot sauce over your cabbage and butter.

Lay corned beef over top.
Pour chicken stock and a light touch of your favorite smoke seasoning over top.
Lay another layer of parchment paper over the top of your pan. Roll the edges together with bottom to seal tightly. Do not vent the paper! It will vent itself.

Place in oven roughly 1 hour.
